Setting a Desired Completion

Tom gets a call from his manager who just met with the manager of the HR department. They discussed request #704660. Apparently it is quite important that this RFC gets implemented quickly. Tom’s manager agreed with the HR manager that your team will attempt to get this enhancement of the Time Off Request service implemented before the end of next month.

Add this information as a note to request #704660. Next, set the Desired completion field to reflect what has been agreed on.

Please beware that, whenever the desired completion is set, updated or removed, the person selected in the Requested by field is notified via email. This email includes the desired completion date and time, as well as the Note that was added to the request.

Question:

Before your update of the request, it did not have a specific target. The header of the request therefore showed “Best Effort”. After you saved your update, the desired completion became visible in the header. The desired completion should now also be visible in the Next Target of the Inbox view.
