Maintaining Change Templates
You have added the new task template, so now you can use it to replace the risk & impact task templates of the “Windows server hardware upgrade” workflow template.
Remove the four risk & impact task templates from this workflow template by opening its Gantt chart. There you will see 3 small dots when you move your mouse cursor to the left side and hover over the subject of each task template. Clicking on these 3 small dots reveals the option “Remove Task Template”.
After removing the 4 risk & impact task templates, add your new risk & impact task to the Gantt chart. To complete this workflow template update, you will need to add the new task template to the workflow in such a way that the “Change controller and service owner approval” task gets assigned after the risk & impact analysis has been completed.
